Banklick Watershed  Council Meeting
Monday, October, 28, 2002
7 P.M.
Summit View School
5002 Madison Pike
Independence , KY

The Banklick Watershed Council wants to meet people with an interest in Banklick Creek and its watershed. The interest may be concern over water quality and flooding issues, or wanting to see progress toward protection and restoration. You know what an asset Banklick Creek and its tributaries could be to the quality of life in our area.

The purpose of this meeting is to 1) introduce the Banklick Watershed Council, 2) explain what we have accomplished since forming early this year  3)  hear your concerns, aspirations and efforts and 4) invite you to participate in solutions.

From this dialogue we can add to, or change, the strategies we adopt to "improve and protect the physical, chemical and biological integrity of Banklick Creek, its tributaries, and watersheds".

The Council has received grant money to help us do the work that needs to be done. We have support from government entities. Now we need support from the public.

The more people we reach, the more we can accomplish together.
