About the Council

The Banklick Watershed Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit, established in 2002.  We are a volunteer group of community members that meet every month to promote and implement projects aimed at improving the watershed.  We are always looking for people interested in watershed, water quality, or broader environmental issues.  Please contact us to see what volunteer or involvement opportunities are available.

2020 Board Members:  Anna Kirschner (Chair), Larry Zembrodt (Vice Chair), Donna Horine (Treasurer/Secretary), Sherry Carran (Emeritus), Tom Kruer,
Kevin Miller, and Andy Videkovich.

Meetings

BWC meetings are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month at 3:30pm and are usually held at the Sanitation
District #1's office (1045 Eaton Drive, Ft. Wright, KY).

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the pandemic, the BWC has transitioned to monthly online meetings.  These meetings are still held on the first Wednesday of the month at 3:30pm.  Please use the Contact Us form to request to be added to our notification list.
